Chow Yun-Fat Mentions Dragonball
Chow seems to have lost some weight since his last appearance in Hong Kong and he smiled that he had has lost around 10 lbs because he was not able to acclimatise to the conditions during filming for Dragonball recently in Mexico. He joked that he was detoxing by eating gravel like dogs and cats do.
It would appear as though he did not shave his head for the role, but perhaps they used a bald cap.
In addition to that, DBMB reports that James Marsters (Piccolo) had gotten his teeth bashed in on the set of Dragonball.
James Marsters, who played Spike on the show, refused to smile because, he said, he’d had his teeth bashed in on the set of Dragonball, the Chow Yun-Fat movie filming in Mexico. Marsters said he’d come directly from the airport to the Buffy reunion, and didn’t want to show us his pearly whites until he’d seen a dentist.

That is true! I’m growing impatient…. Its almost as if 20th Century Fox is messing with everyones mind by giving us a pic of Weaver and Emmy instead of Goku and Piccolo or some other major character. My patience is running low, Fox needs to release something official (Other than Teto screenshots)

They’re obviously just gonna’ keep delaying this for another six years and another and another. It’s never comming out! NEVER!!!! Those fanboys on IMDB are probably just producers from Fox. Think about it! They start making a good movie way back in 2002, don’t release it in 2022, and they have a perfectly good twenty year marketing tool. And all they have to do is go on IMDB and start some fake rumors saying, “Oh! I swear, the trailer’s in this lame movie”. They’re making money off of us before the release

Hmmm hmmmm hmmmmmm……
I have no idea if this movie will be bad or good or anything that it SHOULD be but…
all I can say is that appearance is everything and all the fans deserve to see their anime characters be brought to life on the big screen with every detail as possible. Yes, Goku’s hair would be hard to do but you know what? If the hair styles in the links below can be done, Goku’s hair can be done in a non-cheesy way.

relax it’s only 10 lbs. It’s not like it will be really noticeable. I lost 10 lbs of fat and looked the same and I’m like 5′8.
So anyway, does this mean he’ll live in the mountains. There’s a reason he’s the turtle hermit. Kame House=Turtle House–why? Let’s see, it’s an island in the sea so turtles go by. I don’t see many turtles living in the mountains. His name is Kame by the way, aka the Turtle Hermit.

Robert, how can you possibly think this movie is fake. Chatwin and Marsters have both done interviews. There is a video of Chatwin doing an interview about the movie on YouTube. Look it up. I wish the movie was fake though.

It might be a good thing since Master Roshi was very skinny anyway, I hope they put his transformation in the movie where got buff; but that would have to be done in CGI. Let’s just hope, and I don’t think it matters if he’s bald or not.

Ouch, poor Marsters. That’s gotta suck bad, I remember getting surgery after my nose got bashed in. It’s not a fun experience.
On a side note, I wonder if the fights will just be like any other kung fu movie with minimal cgi. Marsters said the budget was 100 million, but I kinda think that was really overexagerrated. Maybe $100 mil at max, but I just can’t see a 100 minute movie being made in Durango costing that much. Especially if they’re sacrificing things like Kami’s palace being in the sky, instead it’s on the ground (I’m pretty sure that’s the palace). It’s not that hard, Sky High had the school which looked like Kami’s lookout in the sky.

Chill out the movie is being perfected till it comes out. we will see everyone soon, they are just gonna give us bits here and there until we have a trailer. I’m sure we are going to see the toys sooner or later. with posters and and a teaser. there are people being paid to surf the web for sites like this, so they know we want pics videos ect and are gonna milk this money cows the weeks before its release. I’m sure this movie will be good just look at past movies and todays advancements in graphics and film, sure the story is altered but think about it theres so much more to DB Vegeta, Freeza… once this movie comes out and if it does very well I’m sure the casting wwill be perfected. im sick of this racial debate whites vs azn actors OH WELL SUCK IT UP. James Mcavoy would fit Vegeta I think he could pull it off. But for Freeza we would need some one really really dark I think the only way to pull off freeza on the big screen is to make him 10 times more evil then the show and alot darker and ruthless. and a terrifying look so he is feared bring a big shock value to the movie like crap your pants scary.

with the whole thing about master roshi’s house being in the mountains, does anyone remember while goku and krillin were training with him they relocated his house to the mountains? his home may be initially on an island or beach but moved into the mountains when goku trains with him. just a thought.
