Chow Yun-Fat Mentions Dragonball
Monday, March 24th, 2008Chow seems to have lost some weight since his last appearance in Hong Kong and he smiled that he had has lost around 10 lbs because he was not able to acclimatise to the conditions during filming for Dragonball recently in Mexico. He joked that he was detoxing by eating gravel like dogs and cats do.
It would appear as though he did not shave his head for the role, but perhaps they used a bald cap.
In addition to that, DBMB reports that James Marsters (Piccolo) had gotten his teeth bashed in on the set of Dragonball.
James Marsters, who played Spike on the show, refused to smile because, he said, he’d had his teeth bashed in on the set of Dragonball, the Chow Yun-Fat movie filming in Mexico. Marsters said he’d come directly from the airport to the Buffy reunion, and didn’t want to show us his pearly whites until he’d seen a dentist.
