Christina Inman Comments on Posters
More controversy for the posters: Christina Inman said that they are not official
I’ve been in touch again with Christina Inman (manager of the Fox in Mexico) and I said: that posters are not official and they do not know where they have left.
But the question is why Fox has sent withdraw these posters? … or perhaps unwilling to have confusion about it?.
Regarding the alleged teaser trailer I am also with what they told me a few weeks ago Christina Inman, the start of the promotion of Dragonball could begin until June or July … but well, time will tell who is right.
We still think they’re real though due to the overwhelming evidence provided by Sour Mikan and Craigdbfan below.
I can’t believe it… at least in Japan, a lot of people say they saw this poster, and I don’t think they are lying.

Because they are Fox, that’s why. They should have just said they aren’t official rather than making sites take them down…that’s just stupid as hell.
On the bright side, maybe this means we will get a better poster now.

If there not official then why are they makin sites take them down? That’s just stupid, there’s been dozens of fake posters before and they never said anything about them did they? Of course it’s real, but poorly done; it’s very ameteur, I think we’ve all seen better photoshops than this

@Sean: They probably made sites remove them because those websites were claiming that these where the “Official American and International Posters”. Fox wouldn’t want a fake poster/or theater stand ins floating around and being claimed as the real deal. You Dig

but serisouoly she has told to many lies tied to dragonball. I dont think she really has any connection to the advertising team. she has said that there were not going to fulum assassins and other thing which have turned out to be true. but it could just be her trying to tell people that they are not so that it seems as more of a suprise in the future when they are either rerelease them or the actually ones come out. But who knows i just dont trust her anymore. i think she is just connect with the fact that she works for fox nothing else

Or am I reading that wrong because she never said where it came from, it couls still be fake. You can’t really blame her for trying to hide it because it’s not like Fox wants to release all this information. I actually like the fact that Fox is trying to keep it a secret. Just be patient guys. Fox knows what they’re doing.

why would a fox manager in mexico have anything conclusive to say about the marketing operations in the US and Japan, isn’t she really only be speaking for Mexico?
as for the posters not being official, since when does that have to mean they aren’t real, couldn’t that just mean that they were versions which went on display prematurely?

I also believe that they are real otherwise Fox wouldnt have asked websites to remove them. and there isnt any possible conclusion to support the idea of an overzealous fan that works at a theater displaying them because there are two different ones in japanese and english, but i dont have anything against the poster besides the texting of “Dragonball” that itself looks very weak

I don’t know in USA. But here in Brazil is pretty easy create a poster, print it, put on the wall and take a picture of it, and put on the web saying: Look guys, the real Dragonball teaser poster. =)

Hey adam, just saw a commercial for smallville tomorrow AND FRIGGIN PICCOLO’S IN IT. ahem, i mean james marsters seems to be coming back as brainiac. i saw his first appearance but haven’t kept up with it for a while… NOW i’m really interested. You watching tomorrow too or does it not air where yet you are? it’s me, “The Kid” btw. I’m busy working on my fan-project and hope to have it completed by tomorrow for a big release… don’t tell anybody though.

I’m only complaining because I really think this poster is god awful, I know ALOT of amateurs who could do better than that, and about a million people who could find a better font face for the title treatment.
I will complain because I don’t want this movie to be crap like the poster. I’m not finding anything new to complain about, I was very positive about the movie till I thought that this might be real.
Honestly I don’t think I have ever seen a poster this bad for a movie that turns out to be decent to good in quality

Live Action Anime member youkaisama has posted more pictures of the “Theater Stand-In Poster for the Dragonball film” from his local theaters! Although the posters are in English they were not taken in a Northern American country. They were taken in Asia and thats all I really know about the posters.
I’m going to go to San Fransisco Meteron tomorrow to check out if they have the same “Theater Stand-In posters”. I will try keeping you guys informed =)

I think the poster is real!! Fox is probably trying to see the people reaction in Japan just like Warner brothers did to Superman.
Check out the Superman poster in 1998
Warner brothers decided to pull it off the theaters….
I remember seeing this Superman poster at the movie theater in Tacoma, WA when I was a kid.

I’m still convinced these posters and that teaser trailer are the product of some die-hard fan who wants people to take his hoax seriously and generate hype for this movie. And considering how seriously movie sites are taking these posters (And how negatively they’re being received,) I’d feel pretty threatened if I worked for Fox too. Now they’re under pressure to get some proper advertising out before the fans give them anymore bad PR.

And Adolf does seem vary racist to me because your pretty much saying im a dictator and im not i know the meaning of the name Adolf Hitler im some stupid middles school punk. but i would like you to tell me what is so wrong with the poster how does it seem bad. The font isn’t that big of a deal it basic font that give a slight futuristic view with a red orange under shadow which is int fact vary DB and DBZish. No not just any one would be able to recreate this, i would like to see you find some one to make the dragon out of lightning wiht compleatly compying the original and i tell this would be hard after taking four years of computer graphics and digital manip class i will tell not vary easy. the dragon ball isn’t that bad eaither and the stars dont have to be red or dark orange remember that they glow when there put together and when they glow there stars turn bright yellow so that is fine. The background isn’t that bad either its a dark sky like when the dragonball are brought together. Tell me this isn’t that good of a poster it hint (like a teaser should) to many thing in the dragonball universe and several that are in the movie one being the eclipse if you notice the dragonball looks as if it is eclipsing the sun does it not. Im not saying you have to agree but shut up and shot complaining if he tell you to stop complaining is like hitler than any one who can’t take the need-less whinning of what seem to be only a well educated middles school punk or a highly Dumb graduate. OK i had nothing against you in the first place i was just stating the people alway find something to nitpick about this movie. Cristina Inman has been wrong before. Remember she is just a Fox representative in Mexico. She is not the one making the decisions in the Fox headquarters. So she probably wasnt aware of the teaser poster.
The Teaser poster was nice. ITS A TEASER POSTER!!! TEASER!!! Teaser posters are not supposed to show anything DAMNIT!! Im getting pissed at these whinning children.

Click photo 2. It shows a a website. http://www.dragonballthemovie.com I tried going to that website, that website does not exist. Therefore, those are probably photoshopped pics. Or someone took that DB poster and shrunk it, and c/p’d it on that other thing in MS Paint. I mean, isn’t Forgetting Sarah Marshall already out? And we got news of this poster after it came out. Idk I still have my doubts is all
