Marsters Signed on for Trilogy
According to this new information, we’ll be seeing plenty more of James Marsters in the upcoming trilogy.
“Dragonball – signed on for two more, nothing else currently in the works.”
People put their hands up and he picked them out. We didn’t need a microphone. I will try to remember some of the answers he gave.
* He is signed up for two more Dragonball movies.
That ends the speculation that the younger incarnation of Piccolo (Piccolo Jr.) would be played by another actor.

good hopefully that means we get to see vegeta or even freeza lol. I also barely found/saw pictures of production, like 5 people dressed in master roshi’s orange and blue GI suits, as if he has a marital arts school or something. Also a big scene that’s shaped like an arrow with the words CRANE written on it

this is good, they should keep piccolo and goku, mackintosh muggleton as gohan, mark strong as vegeta, amber heard as #18, Vincent Kartheiser as #17. Cell and Frieza, CGI. James and Justin need to buff up though! Future trunks = Austin O Brien.

just a thought…..since weve heard rumors that the second movie will have goku dying is it possible that this first one will show goku as a baby with tail, and a kid goku fighting king picolo for part of the movie, and later picolo jr will come and fight teen goku and end with gohan being born just in time to be kidnapped in the second flick……just a thought

A 17 year old boy named Goku recieves intense martial art training from his grand father Gohan, Goku studies in high school with his childhood friend Chichi, She has much more than friendly feelings towards him. At school , Goku is unpopular and is often being made fun of.
One day, Gohan organises a special meal in honnor of Goku’s 18th birthday but the old man is mortally wounded by one of Piccolo’s henchmen who then steals his dragon ball. Before dying, Gohan asks Goku to get all seven dragon balls to save the earth from it’s ultimate destruction.He also asks Goku to get some help from Master Roshi to find the seven dragon balls. After Gohan’s death , Goku ventures alone in a grand adventure full of excitement and suprises.
On the way to meet Master Roshi, Goku meets a young woman named Bulma. By sheer coincidence ,Bulma has in her possession a radar that tracks the dragon balls. Bulma decides to take advantage of Goku’s stength and follows him on his quest. After a few days of tough travelling , they finally arrive at Master Roshi’s house. Goku continues his training and improves his techniques with Master Roshi (learns Kamehameha). Our three friends now start their quest on the search of all seven dragon balls. On their travels , they fall into a trap created by a desert bandit called Yamcha. During their imprisonement , Roshi tells the story of Piccolo and how the people from Namek allready tried to destroy planet earth 2000 years ago. Hearing this , Yamcha changes his mind and joins them on the quest to find the dragon balls. Towards the end of the journey, Our four heroes meet Piccolo. Piccolo asks Goku to join him and reveals his true Saiyan past. Goku refuses but then Piccolo beats him down without any difficulty and steals all his dragonballs. With all 7 dragon balls in his possession , Piccolo has yet one last task to complete , wait for a eclipse.
Later on , Our fine group of heroes decide to enroll at the world championship of Martial Arts to counter Piccolo’s evil plans.Chichi ,also present, meets Goku’s new friends. After a friendly exhibition match the romance between the two characters finally happens. The real Tournament starts and one fight in particular stands out from the others. The duel between Master Roshi and Piccolo. Right before Roshi is about to defeat Piccolo with one of his secret techniques, Mai , one of Piccolo’s close henchmen, intervenes and Roshi’s original attack is turned against him.Master Roshi dies. In all logic Goku confronts Piccolo during the final.Goku defeats Piccolo and wins the tournament ,saving humanity and planet earth. He then gets married to Chichi.

Wow…that movie plot idea sounds pretty realistic but… idk, wierd? I really want to see krillin and Tien in the movie, seeing as they played huuuuuuuge parts in the manga/anime, I mean, a good amount of the time the story was basically routed areound Tien… But that’s also true for the Red Ribbon Army..so who knows?

I’d say they want to do two more. I don’t know if they WILL though. I think it’s like they said. If the first is a success, they’ll do two more. If not, they won’t…or they’ll just hand it over to Uwe Boll and make two more direct-to-DVD movies.

I hope that the next two movies will be the saiyan n freeza sagas they would have to be. idk why ppl r sayin all this shit bout the androids being in the movies. it only makes sense if they make the saiyan n freeza saga for the next movies because freeza plays a huge role between vegeta n goku lifes part of their saiyan history. soo yeah i say screw the androids. haha

But seriously, I wouldn’t go by the true storyline of what happened in the manga to predict the story for the movie and who Marsters will play. I remember reading something he said about ‘Lord Piccolo started as one of the good guys then got in a bad argument…by the end of the movie he changes a lot but it’s a long road’ or something like that. I’m thinking there might not even be a Piccolo Jr. I’m thinking it’ll be Lord Piccolo the whole time, who started good, turned bad, then turned back to the good side again. That’s how Marsters made it sound anyway. Plus, it seems they changed the way the Dragon Balls are used (needing an eclipse to activating them, or so the script says, instead of the Dragon Balls causing an eclipse-like event) so I wouldn’t hold Fox above changing Piccolo’s character either.

Well I guess those rumors about the Dragonball teaser being in the “Iron man” movie was not true after all.
I really hope the Dragonball teaser gives me goosebumps when I see it. When Fox finally anounces the date of the teasor. Im gonna scream

wow guys…I really don’t think that they’ll show a teaser before a CONFIRMED poster shows up…besides, the teaser will probably just be some lame view of the dragonballs and the planet and such. Maybe a few good SFX.

yeah but Krillin also played a big role in Goku’s life as well, so I wouldn’t expect them to even have Vegeta in any of the movie’s since they don’t even have Krillin in the first. In this movie they have Piccolo tell goku about his saiyan history. Umm…. wasn’t that raditz job?

Red ribbon,karin tower and the character krilin (Goku’s best friend) are very important in the manga. So, they need to appear in the movie or the trilogy…but they must appear . If we talk about that maybe the authors will read it and listen to us…dream dream dream…

omg like i said before if they can do piccolo they can do any bad guy from dragonball/z if they can make a t-rex for Jurassic park(yes i know some parts of the trex were cgi but they still made a big puppet) they can make a little body suit for some guy to run around in as buu just because something has never been done before does not mean you can’t do it, think out side the box
old starwars were better because most things where on set not put in on a computer like the new craptastic ones if they can make chewy they can do freeza

Sorry to go off subject Adam, but I just saw Iron man Saturday and I have to admit. Iron man has to be one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Dude I was totally blown away!!!! I didn’t know it was going to be that good. I really hope Dragonball is as good as Iron man, but better!!!! I am so hyped to see Dragonball. They have noooooo excuse now. Wow!! You got to see Iron man Adam. Did you see Iron man fly? The flying and the fighting reminded me of Dragonball all the way. I liked how he did the super sonic speed! That was freakin’ cool. Dude I saw Spiderman 3 opening day and I was highly dissapointed. The action was good and all, but the story was predictable and cheesy like a mug. Iron man used there budget very well!! Im still shocked, because it was PG13. It did not seem like a teen movie at all. I hope they give Dragonball a PG13 rating too!!!!

I tried to go see Iron Man, but they were sold out. I watched The Forbidden Kingdom instead, which was hilarious. I wouldn’t mind Dragon Ball being a little silly like that, but the realistic thing’s a bit better.

. I saw Iron Man by the way and it was absolutely great! It was entertaining and I loved Robert Downey Jr’s witty performance . The special effects were great and so was the story which made Iron Man a well rounded film.

@Craig: Hey Craig what do you think of the part when Iron man did the supersonic speed in the air? It reminded me of Dragonball Z when they did that dude. I hope we get to see some Supersonic speed in the King Piccolo saga if not the Saiyan saga. The first time we actually get to see Goku do the supersonic speed is when he was done training with King ki. He did it on snake way when he was trying to be on time for the Nappa and Vegeta fight. That’s why Dragonball Z is the best show, because they showed everything step by step. I just hope the movie speed things up a little bit. I wouldn’t mind seeing alot of Energy blasts and some supersonic speed in the King Piccolo saga. Wow!!!! I can’t wait to see Dragonball dude. I have a feeling Fox is going to show the teaser during the Happening or The Dark knight.

This would be awesome to have a trilogy! It would be a great way to keep Dragon Ball alive for another 7 years. I really hope the 1st movie does good so we can have more. Also I hope they put DB, DBZ, or DBGT Uncut back on TV for the movie. That would be awesome. Anyway I hope this movie does well cuz I’m really looking forward to seeing it.
