Emmy Rossum (Bulma) updated her blog today, and while she reveals nothing about Dragonball, she does write something interesting.
Sometimes I wish I could say more about my films before or while they are being made, but I can’t. It is always the prerogative of the filmmakers to decide when and how much information to release about a movie no matter how much an actor is enthusiastic and eager to share their own excitement.

sometimes being TOO secretive is a bad thing. but then again this doesn’t come out for a full year pretty much, so advertising this early could kill hype for it with the wait

@josh1122: True that, but we need something. They can at least give us a poster or a 15 sec teaser trailer with just their names, and the Dragonball logo with Brian’s music in the background. I mean how hard is that? really?

yeah true, give us one screenshot or something of one of the characters from IN MOVIE and not backstage setting. you know something from the movie,still shot or something. reading about wizard magazine gets me anxious to see the goku and piccolo pictures they were talking about

i kinda wish that i had not heard about a DB movie up until a few months of the release, its like we’re getting tortured with small excerpts and it sucks. We’ve been in an anxious state about this movie for awhile now, i started hearing about the movie about the 4th Quater of last year.
i wish the release was this year and a trailer hit this summer………oh well, whatever.

I agree!! There being way to secretive about Dragonball.
How are we supposed to get hyped if there is nothing out? I want to see some energy blasts, I want to see some flying, I want to see Goku vs Piccolo, most of all I want to see a good poster. We should at least get something official to get our feet wet. They should have enough footage to get people hyped for a year. I was soooo excited and hyped last month, because I thought there was going to be some promotion in May!! Spring is almost over and still no promotion. I was like cool at least we gonna get a poster or a teaser to get us ready for the biggest movie ever. It’s May and we still ain’t got nothing yet!!
I really hope Fox knows what there doing? I have faith in them, but there being way to secretive. The Teaser better be amazing that’s all I have to say. It better give me chills!! It better not just show a Dragonball flying around and say Dragonball coming soon. If I see something predictable, im going to be so mad!! I hope they do something different….

That’s likely what the teaser will be like. Just something to start hype that a dragonball movie is coming, and then a little later we’ll get a more exciting one probably. Is wizard still going to have pictures of Goku and Piccolo? They said they would a while ago.
It make me more excited knowing that James isn’t the only one excited about this movie though.

First trailer will be no good most likely. And Corey, we don’t really need anymore hype than we already have for the movie, the thing we want to see the most is how it’s going to look. And the promotion was suppose to start late May early June, that’s what it said on Hoycinema anyway. But I doubt the first trailer will be as long as the one for Iron Man.

@Sean: I wonder if it’ll be a surprise trailer. Funny, I looked at a list of trailers for the summer on ign.com and nothing for Dragon Ball showed up. So I wonder if the list is incomplete or if they won’t show it until right before the movie comes out. Maybe they don’t want to put money into advertisements because they already know how it’ll do.
