Teaser Soon?
Screen Daily reports footage of the Dragonball movie was shown at Cinema Expo 2008. Christina Inman of Fox said a trailer in the summer would be possible, and this only further supports that claim.
Delegates were also shown footage/trailers/teasers for thriller Mirrors (starring Kiefer Sutherland), French box-office hit Taken (starring Liam Neeson), Mark Wahlberg’s new film Max Payne, The X-Files: I Want To Believe, Dragonball, romantic comedy Bride Wars (starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway), Night At The Museum 2, and unseen footage of Tom Cruise Second World War drama Valkyrie.
UPDATE: Christina Inman told dragonballlive there would be no teaser trailer until November or December. Looks like she can’t make up her mind…
UPDATE 2: Film1 confirms that the teaser trailer was shown at the expo.
It’s definitely true that they’ve shown a teaser of Dragonball, but it’s just a couple of short scenes. Because of the enormous amounts of trailers, teasers, clips and films shown at the Expo, I can’t remember exactly what I saw, but I remember that it was cool!

@Taylor: My guess is still “The X-Files: I Want To Believe” on July 25th. It’s a Fox movie, Wong is a veteran of that show, and it’s sci-fi. Perfect choice.

cool beans. hope we get a trailer, wont be anything spectacular though i can guarantee that. prob just a bunch of text,narrator,followed by the name Dragonball and then COMING SOON or something like that. Prob won’t show any characters.
But it will still be SOMETHING and that’s all I can ask for lol. Something to tide me over till the release of the movie. We prob won’t see a full glimpse of piccolo till the movie is out in theatres also since FOX is prob banking on what piccolo looks like is the deciding factor to some of they’ll see the movie

lol.. eddie murphy still is legendary!… theres also the posibility of releasing it with Hancock!.. its not a fox movie, but it fits the genre.

I think we will get to see alot of action footage, cause Terminator 4 started filming may 5 and there will be a teaser for T4 with batman, I read the discription and it has footage, so dont loose faith. (John Conor rides through what looks like a warehouse on a motercycle with a girl on it with him, then as they go out of frame then a large Terminator machine on wheels like the one seenin TERMINATOR 1 crashes through a door after them). hahaha SICK Terminator 4 comes out may 22, 209

Max payne doesn’t come out to next year and and that trailer might be shown soon. I think were gonna get a teaser next month. One thing tho I’m not looking forward to is people bitching about it not being much becauseim not expecting anything over a min long. I will be satisfied with wat ever.

My guess is with Hancock since it’s a superhero movie, but at the same time, not. (interesting concept from trailer.) The flying and fighting look very similar to dragonball, especially at the end of the trailer when they charge at each other and shoot upwards towards the sky. Well DBZ at least, but that’s what people are sadly still expecting this movie to be… with super saiyans.
Another funny thing is I saw Zohan last night (a lot funnier than I expected) and most of the fighting felt a lot like dragonball. Speed and strength mainly.

Im pretty sure there not gonna release the apperence of piccolo until the movie.
kinda like what they did with venom and such
piccolo is the most visual entertaining character in the movie(as far as we know).. so why ruin the surprise of such eye candy.

I also think the Dark knight is a great day to show the Dragonball teaser. If not then maybe during X-files 2. I have a feeling they might show it during X-files 2…. That would be great too!!

I hope they don’t release some crappy teaser with just the name of the movie on it. We’d all like to see some footage.
Anyway, if they can, the trailer should be released with The Dark Knight. Why?, because everybody is going to see it, that’s why. If the teaser is
good, and it gets exposed to a huge audience, that could do some major work for this movie.

November or December is ok with me. It may sound like its far away but the
schoolyear go by quick, especially in college so the trailer will be here in no time. And another thing, if were not getting anything until the end of theyear than its most likely gonna be a full blown trailer, not a teaser.
