These warrior dudes, Fulum Assassins, look alien/ bug-like to me. Maybe they’ll have special powers, like shoot ki blasts and super strength. In the movie, I would like to see Goku take on hundreds of these at once and wipe the floor with them.

I too have a Power Ranger feeling but I’m sure the Anamorphic film look, post-production, lightning technique and actors inside will change that
Remember that Alien in the film Signs? That scene were we only get a glimpse of the alien on that Home video footage? it really disturbs me

Great update, and I just just finished watching the Guyver movie and I have to agree with Savonny, these Fulum assassins look alot like the Guyver’s suit. I just hope it doesn’t turn out like that movie

not to mention this is before post production so your STILL not even seeing it in its entirety.
The only way you can say this looks power rangerish is if you watch a scene out of the movie and the acting/movement/look/graphics are completly shitt..Then you can say that.

when they took these, they were obviously still working on them! if you compare the colors with the recent one to this one than you can see how big of a difference it is.

@josh1122: Yeah, it sucks he got replaced by a generic arachnid footsoldier. He was such an important character. He killed Krillin and was the first person to ever make Goku mad. His actions were also the start of Dragon Ball shifting from fighting/comedy to being serious.

This has the detail of the Predators and the imps from the Doom movie. It looks fantastic. This is just a set picture too! Wouldn’t you think they’d add some light shading or CGI to make this look even better?

LOL guys this is getting lame stop bitching about anything that comes out about this movie have you ever seen a costume for a scifi film before when its not being portrayed in the film it was made for go bitch at lucas for his storm troopers looking “power rangerish” you just decide to pic some crap tv show and label it to everything you have seen come out of the clutches of fox and bash it DO YOU FUCKING research! there a ton of films that looked nothing like there production stills, so stop this shit now go on imbd and whine with the rest. look at the some of the films the crew of dragonball have worked on there is alot of talent and with $100 000 000 you can make a great film. Films like kill bill only cost $55 000 000 The 300 was only like $60 000 000 sure there have been really bad movies made for the same and more but just keep and open mind DB makes billions and i don’t think fox would mind dipping their toes into that pool.

Well, by looking at the costume, it look pretty good! I really don’t know if they can fight, but it might be enjoyable. They little bit remind me a godzilla villains and ultraman villains as well. I don’t know about power rangers…. Maybe these costume can make ths movie a PG-13 rating, it looks kind of scary. But its pretty hard to freak-out little 6-12/teens kids, maybe if we add MJ (Michel Jackson) that might push the rating. But in all, good. Thanks for the news!!

Some people just hate dragonball and want this movie to fail. They’re the same as those online who irrationally hate all Anime, period. Akira be damned, it’s all worthless to them. This is post-production, and that monster has awesome detail. The guy that said the whole power-rangers thing is a bandwagon deal was right.
Honestly, all you’ve seen is some posters, and a few pictures.
I remember when Spider-Man was being made, all websites about the movie, just like this, had 90% of people saying that the casting was an epic fail, the director was an epic fail, this movie was going to bomb in everything, Sony didn’t really care about it, ect. Basically, it was being received very poorly at that stage. And all the fans had to see were a few post-production pictures.
And you know what?, Spider-Man KICKED ASS. So shut-up you whiny bastards, and wait until you actually see the whole of something before making a judgement about it.

With all the pictures and info “leaked/released” its hard to not doubt db’s success sometimes but as to why people come to a site that obviously supports the film and go way overboard with their opinions is beyond me. Maybe some people find pleasure in annoying others (ever been on xbox live?) I personally find the movie to be interesting and enjoy seeing news. Thanks to Adam for digging the stuff up so I don’t have to, just wish the internet was filled with less irritating people…
The Fulum assassins look good and as long as they can trow down in battle I think they’ll do great.

@grapes: Dude its called curiosity. Some people want to be proven wrong. I’m a fan and a skeptic, and if the movie sucks then I won’t watch it in the theaters. I don’t need to drive there and waste gas, pay $10, and spend the time watching a horrible movie. You can’t ask time for a refund. I also think that what they are trying to do with the movie is to avoid the cosplay by making the movie more “real life”. To try and attract DB fans and non-fans to the movie.

Some of ya don’t know nothing about movie magic!!!! If you did you would know the Fulum assassins look freakin’ amazing. Allot of big movies start there villans like this. Some of the greatest special effects movies of all time did!!

The Matrix reloaded used extras for the Agent smith fight scene with Neo. That scene turned out amazing!!!! In order for the characters to look real you need real people. You can’t just have 100% Cgi or it’s not going to have that extra realism. You have to have people in the suits so the movement can be more real.
Just think how it’s going to look when it gets Cgi???? It’s going to look freakin’ ALWSOME!!!! It’s going to be Dragonball all the freakin’ way

You can’t say nothing bad about Power rangers, because all of us watched it at one time. Even Emperor Adam watched it!!!!
It payed the way for allot of shows!! If you want to talk about monsters in costumes then lets talk about Star wars. The original Star wars had puppets and Chewbacca, but guess what????

It was a masterpiece!! The original Star Wars is better then 80% of the movies out today. To prove that, George lucas put out a special edition in theaters and it was a boxoffice success and visual success.

I dont know why people are mad or anything about taking out the other 2 pics.. wondering y it was taken down, when it “helps” DB promotion… well the truth is that these people prob have singed a contract to not leak anything and those other 2 pics had faces on them, if Fox knew about it, those people who worked hard on the Fullum Assasins most likely will get disciplined ( fired or get little pay ) and now they cant go to another project because if they investigate the last project they did, they might find out that they screwed up in the contract. I even think adam should take down the blured face one, to protect these people that have worked hard to get us a movie
