I guess this is kinda the next best thing to something like a trailer. I’m thankful for any news on this film. This Chi-Chi vs. Mai video shows more than the others which is cool. Thanks Adam!

i think the video is okay i mean its not worth watching intill the movie comes out cause u see them fighting but no cgi effects added to the fighting scenes which im sure is gonna be alot better then the video that they gave us.

Chrish: thankyou altleast some one agrees with me these videos are nothing and people judge em before the movie comes out it does look power rangerish cause of the crappy fighting but with cgi effects like they did in 300 and trust me i saw the making of that movie it looked like shit the first time but once all the details and scenenry is added you wont tell the difeerence like gokus gi suit and hair all looks sick once the CGI effects comin. Trust me goku is going to be badass iin the movie though he’s gonna fight so many villians okay he doesn’t care who it is. hes gonna be like neo in the matrix just kick ass once he finds his powers.

guys everything will be cgi so don’t worry about the movie all of james wongs movies have been cgi so far nd he won’t let this bom in theaters plus the budget on this movie is alot more then 300’s budget and 300 was a good movie. So think about y do u think he had post production so he can add the cgi , the good stuff. So if these videos are a kinda bad cause there from a cam no need to worry cause FOX doesn’t want this movie to bom they think its gonna be a hit.

plus this is 2008 every movie that has came out was good like ironman, speed racer, the dark knight, the incredible hulk, hellboy, i mean think about how 2009 movies are gonna be plus with dragonball coming out next year is gonna be even more exciting. i’m trying to get everybody to understand that this movie is going to be really cool when it comes out in theaters cause the story is a little different and its being done by FOX at least, so thats a good thing. Cause no movie company wanted to do it or director besides james wong so there trying. This movie is gonna have lots of fighting so need to worry. So its gonna be exciting to see goku on the big screen. This video doesn’t show anything yet so you can’t judge without special effects being added to it. and chrisH was right once all the details are added you won’t tell the difference. James wong won’t ruin this movie he’s gonna make better and entertaining thats y he rewrote it.

dan, what the hell are you even talking about!? first you start off saying that the movie is gonna suck big time and they shouldnt make it and youre not sure about it, then later youre saying how good and cool its gonna be when it comes out. and how are you gonna tell me that the fight is not pretty cool unless youre there watching it, o ok man, i guess nothings cool then unless youre there in person to see it, or unless i check with dan first to see if its ok to say if its cool or not, but then later you even say that it is pretty cool to see them fight like that… make up your mind, what the hell are you even trying to say, this is the same dan making all these comments right, or are there 2 or 3 dans saying all this shit, then it would make sense… man, when did this turn into “dans comment page” anyway, and if anyones judging this movie based on this little 14 second cell phone video or whatever it is, then youre an idiot anyway.

man, are you retarded, seriously… i wasnt judging the movie based on the video, i liked it for what it was, i know that aint the finished product. im all for this movie, if youve even read the comments ive put on here the last couple months youd know that ive never even said anything negative about this movie at all. i said the video was cool but when the people got in the way you couldnt see what happened, and why are you saying to wait for the movie to come out, then talk?… i wasnt talkin shit in the first place dumbass. and also, are you in elementary school or special ed.. cause i had to read your comment about 3 times just to understand it, next time have a grown-up read your comment before you post it so they can correct all the mistakes for you. but hey, at least you refered to me as “mr. ” asshole… i appreciate the respect.

The video is ok, but I really want to see how Goku fights….But its better then nothing. Oh, here a small off-topic question: Most movie have soundtracks like from artist, rock band, etc. I know the guy that did Rambo soundtrack is there, but I’m talking about like those soundtracks that have 15 different artist/band palying. Dragonball is high energy and you need something that’s fast paced to go along with it. Just my opinion. I’m sure others will agree

cool vid, they were moving pretty quick so looked like they worked hard to get a good scene.
havent heard if its pg13 yet, guessin so cause the action&pervy roshi. Depends on how much fox wants to butcher it so lil kids can see it. Uhh and personally id prefer not to hear any “modern artist” playing in the movie, just all original motion picture stuff for the movie– I remember seeing transformers and pissed me off having linkincrack playing at the end while prime did his speech!!! I mean maybe some rock music or music from the RZa (afro samurai style) in the credits.. from what i remember yall did an article on the dood whos doing the music and said hes a fan of Dragonball soo my hopes are for atleast great soundtrack and Visual treat. -rockon-c

Guys it is a good thing that this movie is getting bashed by most of the people.
A lot of people are hating this movie for many reasons, and that is a good thing. Let me explain why:
-According to the haters, Fullum assasins look Power Rangerish: But what they dont realize is that ALL monsters from any movie in Hollywood look like that. Its in post-production when things and details are changed to make it look awesome. (In my opinion, that Fullum assasin doesnt look AT ALL power rangerish). So when the movie is actually released they will be surprised about how great/good the Fullum assasins actually look (because of the post-production job, like in any Hollywood movie)
-According to the haters, the Mai vs Chi Chi fight sucks. They claim its “too slow” for Dragonball: But what they dont know is that in the first place, Chi Chi was never a fast fighter in Dragonball. Second, all movie fights are like that in real life (except Jet Li and Jackie Chan movie fights) but in post-production they are edited to look fast and cool. A good example are The Matrix Trilogy fights. Keanu Reeves and Smith arent martial artists or anything like that and their fights in real life were slow, but they looked cool because of the job done in post-production. Also the people who worked in the matrix are also working in this movie. Now, the haters dont know this, all they know is to hate this movie for whatever reason comes to mind. Since they are expecting “crap fights” (like the Mai vs Chi Chi fight according to them, because that fight looks nice for those two characters), they will expect that Goku and Piccolo will fight as shitty (according to them) as that, but then they will be shocked when they see Goku and Piccolo fighting. I would bet thats going to be the best fight of the decade in movies.
-The Haters are saying that the Teaser Poster sucks: But what they dont know is that its just a teaser poster and not the movie poster. I liked the teaser poster, but they hate it, fortunately they forget that that poster is not the MOVIE poster, but the TEASER poster, which doesnt have much importance.
-The haters are lowering the hype/expectation for this movie: Which is a good thing because they will see it anyways just out of curiosity and since they (and many other people) will have low expectations for this movie, when they actually see it and turns out good, then it will surprise them and it will also surprise many of us. Since we have been a whole year being told that this movie was “going to suck”, that this movie “looks crappy”, etc etc, then when we actually see it, there are more chances to be surprised than dissapointed. Remember that having super high expectations for a movie can be fatal because you are expecting something that will blow your minds. If a movie is good but you were expecting too much from it, then you will feel dissapointed, instead if the movie is good but you had low expectations for it, then you will leave the threaters satisfied.
There are many more reasons but these are just a few of them. The hatred towards this movie is actually a blessing more than a bad thing. I would bet a lot that this movie will turn out very good since most of the people will be expecting very little from this and will be provided with a very good movie that will satisfy them.
So let the haters do their job, they are actually helping the movie.

first thing, i say as a long time 17 year old db fan is dont expect this movie 2 be 2 fast-paced cuz this isn’t dbz.
second, this looks better than the magic begins and those fights were power rangerish
third, as long as it isnt as bad as the street fighter live action movie, it will be good

i think its worth remembering that this is a huge challenge for these people and we should be grateful their even trying to make this film. who knows they might pull it off,and lets not forget that the team doing the special effects are the same as the ones that did the matrix so i dont think the fight scenes will let us down.
though i have to admit i questioned some of the casting,like chatwin as Goku-i dont see how that could work, but i do think that to appeal to mass audience they are going to deviate from the anime series alot (like not including krillin) and piccolo being the one to tell goku he’s a saiyan makes me question their long term plans (i.e.cutting raditz out etc)
i’ve got to say though i’m hoping it’ll be a succes so that we can get as far along the series as possible,maybe even to vegeta
