    Hey, has anyone noticed all the Dragon statues in this pic? If you look closely there 3 on the left of Chatwin and 2 on the right of Rossum, and it looks like they were holding something. Possible dragonball? Maybe this is where they find them all, or it could have just been where they all were “suppose” to be at one time. I dunno, but it’s interesting :P

    All I have to say about that is . . . if he has a dragon ball on his shirt, does that mean that Dragon Ball is a franchise in the movie’s world itself?     @Moi: I doubt that. In the movie, Dragonballs are probobly ancient artifacts, like lets say old treasure from the incans or mayans. Just an example. Kinda like people think thier fictional but there is a legend that when 7 are brought forth a wish of any kind will be granted…just a thought. :mrgreen:

    @Moi: If your worried about this possibly being part of the Ben Ramsey film then even think about this. They’re in a cavern with Dragon statues…a.k.a. the temple of the dragon?

    Sadly theres a pretty good chance they could be using a bunch from the Ramsey script. God I just hope they don’t have Pilaf and their group as Nameks…that would disappoint me to no end. That and if Goku does go into Oozaru mode…he better squish his G-Pa and not let Mai and the group take him out either! Gohan being one of the Masters could easily take them out..XP

    Why shouldn’t it be a Chinese dragon,
    1st- I don’t remember ever hearing in dragon that they were in Japan. Just because that is where the show is from, does not mean the show has to be based from there.
    2nd- Dragonball is based on the Chinese folk novel “Journey to the West”
    3rd- The dragon balls are created by Nameks, Nameks are not from Japan and maybe their dragons tend to look more like Chinese dragons.

    I believe Crono Breaker is referring to the Son-goku from “Saiyuuki”.
    “Saiyuuki” is an old myth from China and it takes place in China.
    That’s were Akira Toriyama got the idea of Goku from.

    But i dont think thats because of anything to do with the “ben ramsay script”

    I spotted the Dragon Statue quite a while ago, I wonder if they will include Shenron in the film - They’ll have to eventually and im hoping it will be in this movie just so everybody that goes to see the film thats never seen the anime knows what he really does.

    Also - Off-topic but i just went to see The Dark Knight and it was a pretty good movie. The Joker was amazing. :twisted:

    Anyways… I have a slight idea about the shirt’s design. But it’s only a thought. They have brands of clothes based off of non-real things- though in the movie, the dragon balls turn out to be real.

    Like someone made the comment earlier about putting things on shirts because it was ancient like Mayan stuff. In this DB world, people could be making t-shirts and stuff for legendary things that no one really feels it’s real. It’s just something that sells-

    Besides, like someone else also said, looks photoshopped. They probably slapped it on his shirt to make it look cool and exciting.

    So, the more I look at the Tiger on the three star looking ball, it just looks like a brand of shirt that uses a lot of artifacts to decorate everything.

    Over all, I still want to see the movie. I don’t care what people say that it’s going to suck, not going to be awesome or the best. I just want to see the movie and be remotely entertained like this movie is supposed to be. Good or bad, I will see- and by hell I will f*cking buy the DVD when it comes out.

    I have been waiting for this movie since rumors first started in 2002….From what i’ve seen so far I am satisfied. I just hope and pray to god now that Piccolo looks great! :D

    I have see a lot of scans from mexico locations and looks great the scenarios in durango i think, but seryously the characters doesnt looks like the manga or anime, i know its a real action movie, but maybe try to find characters similars to the manga will be great, my friends only talk about bull (example : im gonna see the movie only to see bullma the movie dont looks like great), only keep wait until his release here in tokyo and good luck. :idea:

    Teaser’s not coming out until it premieres in Japan unfortunately. I think next month’s going to be a big month of dragonball (err oops dragon ball) though. This month we got a bunch of images. Next month we might get some moving images.

    This movie will suck . Heres my problems with the movie :
    1. Where the fuck is krillen , tien , and choatzou .
    2. Why is yamcha played by a middle aged guy , and why is he in the movie and not tien .
    3. who the fuck cares about mai , she didnt even punch in the original .
    4. Master Roshi looks like chow yun fat in a hawaian shirt
    5. Bulma has brown hair
    6. Goku is in high school
    7. Goku is bullied by some asshat in highschool
    8. All the made up people for this fucking film , the reason why we cant have tien and krillin .
    9.The guy directing this film made many horrible films .
    10.Goku’s gi isnt the way it is .
    11.Chi Chi is played by some whore who wasnt even on a flim except her work on the real world on fucking mtv.
    12.Theyre making it with an aztec influence not an eastern infuence
    13.Theyre using precious screen time to show fucking goku in school .
    14.Theyre saying it will be rated pg
