Promotional Events

It looks like 20th Century Fox will be promoting Dragonball at various different events this year from around the world. Cinema Expo in Amsterdam had a booth in June, as well as Brand Lincensing Europe earlier this month, and now we have word of 3 more events.

On October 23rd, 20th Century Fox Korea held a 2009 line-up road show at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hannam-dong, Seoul. At this time, X-MEN and Dragonball special trailers were shown. But unfortunately Joon Park didn’t appear in this trailer. The trailer was edited centering around lead actor Justin Chatwin, Yun-Fat Chow and Emmy Rossum.

XIV Salon Manga Barcelona will feature a Dragonball booth and possibly a trailer. It will be held October 30th to November 2nd in Barcelona. For more information visit their official website. Via movieland.

Jump Festa will be held on December 20th in Japan. 20th Century Fox will be running a booth at the event where they say a secret movie trailer may be shown.

Ok, so even thought its in the news, im gonna repeat to make sure you guys don’t forget it, remember, MAYBE a trailer will be shown in 30 oct to 02 nov, but its probably only a new teaser or even maybe the one we saw (even though i dont think they would/should show that again lol) leaked, but its not the full trailer yet, so PLEASE, dont complain when it comes and it’s not THAT great (its not the ”wow” they said they were gonna make us do..).

one thing i wanna know is that, the full trailer, is it coming 12th dec or 20th with that event ? x.x gotta wait i guess…

I think they need to completely trash the movie they have right now, save as much money as they can. And when they think about making a movie like saw V or friday the 13, they jus need to cancell that movie and redirect the funds to dragonball. Then hire a whole bunch of artists and landscapers and try to jus develop a percise retro futuristic screen play and find some kid and use tyrese and some girl and just film with confedence that tyrese will make the audience really feel his perspective of piccolo. If not Fox you’ve done it agaaaiinn! When are you going to be out of business i think we’ve waited long enough.

Wow!! I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the XIV Salon Manga Barcelona on October 30th - November 3rd. I hope Adam gets the details of it! I don’t think Fox is going to show the trailer October 30th they will defiantly release the trailer during December.

good god man! After years of expecting this film and the dissapointment i come to see. Hollywood is going to make something that was actually a good story and turning it to a pile of excrement. To be honest i had alot of faith that the dragon ball franchise was not going to be tamppered with this bad.looking at the cast and the premises of this movie its seem that they just halve assed it. to me this is a dissapointment from what ive seen soo far; it’s like seeing another trailer for bullet-proof monk. Like I said just looking at the trailer i’m already dissapointed, but i honestly hope that the long wait is worth it and that hollywood really does’nt fuck this up.
