It looks like our buddies in Japan won’t have to wait much longer for the trailer. CinemaToday is reporting that Dragonball’s trailer will premiere at the midnight showing of The Day The Earth Stood Still on December 18th. No word on if it’ll be released online.

All in all this is some good news. If the trailer is actually attached to the Japanese premiere of “The Day The Earth Stood Still” that means that we should get some leaks of the trailer and the Japanese website and trailer should be launched online in a couple of weeks after that hopefully.

O has anyone noticed fox changed there movie website they have also put wolvarine online. I think the dragonball one could be up as soon as next week. Note. just because they put the site up doesnt meen there will be a trailer with it.
And people spare a thought for street fighter movie fans. There movie comes out in just over 2 months and there isnt anything at all on it. I think that movie will be pushed back.
Anyway we should have this trailer online the day after the 18th I think.

This is great, we can classify this as an international teaser maybe. Think about this also, Japan always makes the trailers look amazing, much better than some american ones imo. HP5’s japanese trailer got released maybe a week before the US’s and it was much better in terms of editing, music choice, etc. But that fact is, that got leaked online the same day. Actually like 4pm ourtime because of japans time zones. We just need dedicated fans to search youtube on that day, download the video (use Vixy.net or some other free service) and then spread it to all of us before Fox has it pulled.

It’s so bad - from the fan point of view - that it looks like a fake, or a big joke. I can’t believe something like this can be approved to be produced, that noone notices that they are filming something ridiculous that looks like a 80’s film compilation renamed to dragonball… I will surely think twice before watching other Fox films… I’m Disappointed and frustrated with this film, and will laugh at anyone who says they paid to watch this..

Just for sure i have booked tickets for the premier in a certain city IMAX screening for THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL i got the best seats in the house YEAH so if there is a chance of the dragonball trailer showing i will get my cell phone and record it hopefully i dont get caught.

Cinema is adapted to play from country to country. A particular Genre or even a particular story isn’t immune to adaptation or reimagination. Look at the TV series “Lois and Clark” Superman was played by an actor who was part Japanese by race. He did a great job. That was years ago too. Some of you are living in the past, way past! Are they confusingwith the Wolverine Trailer ? cuz thats coming with the movie as well ..probably both together since they’re both coming out in more or less the same period one in April and one in May…

What a fucking lame ass Goku. Good lord the pedestal we put white folks on is just ridiculous. They can be anything they want Asian, black, hispanic, alien, monster and etc, etc. They will never have strong asian male leads in a hollywood movie. If you really like this casting choice for this movie then you’ll love the last airbender cast as well. Enjoy your Muck snipes.

Are you kidding me? This is a joke for everyone who knows Dragonball. The characters look nothing like who they should be. The story like it is in the anime is only slightly present. This is the biggest joke of a move i have seen, EVERY When will they learn to keep a movie true to the actually story and not make one up which ALWAYS sucks (refer to other game/anime movies) And “ill” your right, at least make Goku Asian
