Piccolo’s Demon Henchman

Friday, March 7th, 2008
According to the french blog dragonballfilm, Piccolo will have demon henchman called “Fulum Assassins” in the film. Apparently they will be able to regenerate (like Nameks) when they lose a part of their body. The following pictures were sketched by a Mexican reporter who was given a description of the Fulum assassins. The creature designer Alex Tuis was not involved in the creation of these, as Stephen Chow made an adjustment to the script later in production so that Piccolo used demon minions instead of ninjas.

These villains will cause trouble for Goku, and have certain special features which include: having rocky skin, possessing super human strength, and a peculiar human anatomy (three eyes and a mouth that goes from the external “face” part to the edge of the clavicle), the ability to reproduce when any of its body parts are lost, and they hide weapons in their bodies (swords at the height of the shoulders and chest).

Fighting Style

Sunday, March 2nd, 2008
I’ve been asked recently what the fighting style in the movie will be like. Without seeing any footage it’s hard to say, but since some films have fight scenes similar to that which can be found in the Dragonball series, we can assume this movie will have similar. The following are a few examples of fights that the crew involved in this movie have done. Which would you prefer?
